There was already a Ranch.

Three shipping containers, tents, a service window and a season of operation were already in place. The task was to rethink what the Ranch could become without discarding what already worked.

The fitted kitchen

The proposition had to survive the site.

Arrival — main entry, parking, drive lane

Guests — sunken seating, dining, screen

Service — service entry, storage, assembly

Kitchen — frying station, order and pickup

Site — prevailing wind, orientation

Guest movement and service movement had to cross the same plot without crossing each other.

The containers stayed.
Their relationship to everything else changed.
